Brand Identity Design
About
Sushi Monk is a subsidiary of one of the other brand reworks in my portfolio; Masala Wok. The Sushi bar shares the same kitchen but the online sales are seperately recorded. In the future the client wish to expand the Sushi bar since they are very passionate about Sushi and I designed this identity to sort of amalgamate both the brands together in one giant system.
Challenges
The biggest challenge behind this design system was finding a way of keeping the brand consistent with its sister company; Masala Wok. The brand should stand on its own while being recognizable as part of a bigger design system. Also the promotional materials were catered mostly around web.
Using a combination of bright colors with a cold blue to marry Sushi Monk with Masala Wok. The blue serves as a background for the primary iconography. The logo can also go through a greyscale treatment if color options are limited. A similar blue has also been used in Masala Wok along with the warm orange to create consistency and heirarchy between the brands.

Build a social media presence: Create social media accounts on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to showcase the sushi bar's offerings, specials, and promotions. Utilize relevant hashtags, collaborate with influencers, and share user-generated content to attract a wider audience
